Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students as well as part-time employment. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. The group didn't make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Her main role was as the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. It was during this time that she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she would form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. The album was hugely successful both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. In addition in May 2019 Lennox has released Lepidoptera a collection of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva featured a number of hit tracks, such as Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of some songs, including No MoreI love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own, plus one compilation album the result of her efforts.
